Although we feel...

that we designed a nice building (using ACA2009 and 2010) with respect to every detail of the program issued
and we submitted a correct BIM model according to the requirements af the commitee.
The images has been taken from the IFC StoreyView which was among the official BIM viewers the commitee suggested.

IFC knowledge refresh day and related tools collection

A lot of reading and searching today.OK the ACA can make IFC files but I need to make some trials.
First of all the jury will use independed IFC viewers so we must find few of them.
The freely available id always the preferred choice and doing some googling someeone can find.
1.IFCstoreyview
2.DDS-CAD viewer
To start with a ready made model i used the 2009 Sample Project opening it with ACA-2010.
ACA does not have the ability to export an entire project in IFC format.
The best way is, using project explorer to open the site drawing and insert as xrefs the rest of the constructs.
Then selecting export to IFC this site drawing you can export the building as a whole.
These are the results using the viewers mentioned above.
